 Not for once different web-sites announced their plans on producing wide variety of miniature projectors that could be integrated for example into cell phones and show the visual on every surface. Despite of all loud words the mass product have not appeared on the market. Maybe this new device presented not so long ago by 3M corp. will be more lucky. This company had developed a miniature video projector for cell phones integration able to shop a picture of VGA-quality.

The projector is based on pretty compact and bright LED thanks to which the size of the gadget is no more then 1,3 sm. Although with this small size 3M gadget promises quite impressive picture quality: company says projector is able to transfer an image with VGA-quality that by this moment does not have any analogs and maybe be counted as a record. The message is that picture diagonal will be up to 40 inches and more. Mike Cally, executive vice-president of 3M says their mobile projector “has finally reached compactness, effectiveness, reliability and quality of image that let us speak about real full-fledged new product appearence”.

Truly saying the parameters are quite impressive. More the less to consider any positive or negative sides of this concept is not possible by the current moment as the gadget still did not get into the market. Well, we will hope that all listed properties of this gadget will be true and wait for a cell phone manufacturer that first will present us a mass model with this mini videoprojector, I hope that won’t take long. It would be really nice to own such miniature and functional device.
